KEY POINTS:
New Zealand Olympic alpine skier Nicola Campbell is switching codes and hopes to become a force on the national freeskiing scene.
Campbell, 21, finished a creditable 35th in the Olympic women's slalom at Turin, Italy last year. An injury then put the Dunedin skier out of action during the New Zealand domestic season and following surgery she opted to ease back into the sport by free skiing in the United States for a month.
