KEY POINTS:
MELBOUNRE - Cricket tragics who missed out on the catch of the century - a history-making Donald Bradman bat - now have a second chance to own another of the Don's blades.
Last September, one of Bradman's bats from Australia's 1930 tour of the UK created history when it sold for A$145,000 ($186,759).
Next week, another of the cricket legend's bats from the same tour will go under the hammer in Melbourne, albeit with a more affordable pre-sale price estimate of A$40,000 to A$50,000.
As an added bonus, the bat comes adorned with several signatures of Australian players, including Woodfull, Richardson, Kippax, McCabe, A'Beckett, Jackson and Ponsford, as well as signatures from England's third Test team and also from the West Indies Australian tour of 1930-31.
"Overseas interest in Bradman memorabilia has grown to the point where we field queries from investors before we've publicised lots in our possession," auctioneer Charles Leski said.
The bat goes under the hammer in Melbourne next Wednesday.
