Richmond Yacht Club is offering a series of sailing skills seminars for all levels of experience. Entry is open to the public and the club has arranged for some well-known presenters.
Topics will include: the seven golden rules for correct use of GPS, diesel engine maintenance, correct use of a VHF, weather tips, racing flags, getting your boat up to Cat 3 for longer races, racing rules, intro to racing tactics, and effective sail trimming, beginner and advanced.
The seminars are planned for the last Monday of each month, begin at 7pm and last around two hours.
The door charge is $10 and more information is available at www.richmondyc.org.nz.
