Auckland City will hold a public farewell for Team New Zealand on Anniversary Day, January 29.
A pontoon will link Te Wero to the area in the Viaduct where the team are based. The base will be open to the public from 12.30pm to 5.30pm.
The day will be held in conjunction with the 167th sailing of the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta.
Emirates Team NZ chief Grant Dalton said the public had been very patient over the past three years as the team members kept their heads down and worked hard to become credible America's Cup challengers.
