America's Cup defender Alinghi of Switzerland has won the latest in the series of warm-up regattas for the 2007 America's Cup, held off the coast of Sweden. Team New Zealand were fourth.
Alinghi headed out the American team BMW Oracle Racing for the regatta title, after the final race overnight (NZ time) was cancelled due to heavy fog.
Italy's Luna Rossa Challenge was third, followed by Emirates Team New Zealand and then Desafio Espanol in fifth.
Although the Swiss and American boats had identical records, with 32 points each, the edge went to Alinghi under regatta rules because it won the last race on Saturday.
The last two regattas, one series of match races and one of fleet races, will be held off the coast of Italy later this month.
