Suzanne McFadden gives the America's Cup challengers a report card after the second of three rounds.
Prada: Luna Rossa remains the boat to beat. The silver bullet's record is 19-1, and it still has another bullet in its belt. No known damage in this round.
America True: Dawn Riley's one-boat campaign exceeded expectations, winning eight from 10 this round. Best race yet was stockcar action with Nippon ending with a few scratches.
Stars & Stripes: The David to Prada's Goliath - the only crew yet to knock down the Italians. Dennis Conner's heavy-airs boat scored eight wins - and Conner wasn't even on board. Damage: broken boom vang, broken batten.
AmericaOne: Less convincing than round one, but don't underestimate Paul Cayard. Two-boat testing programme kicks in today, after key weapon USA61 was flown in. Damage: torn jib, blown spinnaker.
Nippon: Accident-prone Japanese campaign gave up two critical races against Prada (broken clew ring) and AmericaOne (snapped mast) when in the lead. But still a strong semifinal contender.
Young America: Could you possibly have a worse fortnight? Their first boat almost sank. The second started to crack, sparking a mammoth controversy in which the New Yorkers won a point for not racing, were accused of lying to a jury, then were stripped of the point. Damage to USA58: torn spinnaker, deck delamination, broken gooseneck, broken mainsail track.
Spanish Challenge: The Spaniards' loss record is still bigger than their wins, but they never lose by much. Damage: snapped main halyard, snapped jib halyard.
Abracadabra 2000: Scored a couple of nerve-wracking wins, but the Hawaiians have a design flaw with two booms breaking in three days. There's a new man at the wheel - tactician Chris Larson. Other damage: two blown mainsails, broken spinnaker halyard, broken batten.
Le Defi France: Sixieme Sens was faster from her radical rebuild after round two, but needed winds under nine knots to strut her stuff. Damage: broken spinnaker pole.
Young Australia: The young crew had a new old boat, but only one day to suss it out. Still figuring out how to control it in tight situations. Damage: blown headsail.
Fast2000: Just when the Swiss thought they had worked out how to sail their bizarre twin-keeled boat, one of the keels shattered. Do they have the money to fix it before round three? Damage: cracked back keel.
Yachting: Mixed bag have a few bullets left
