Yachting: Cup team member farewelled

America's Cup skipper Russell Coutts was yesterday among mourners at the funeral of former BMW Oracle team member Paul Wallbank.

Wallbank, 37, died mysteriously in Valencia last week, soon after he was made redundant from his position as trainer for the team. His funeral was at Purewa Crematorium, in Meadowbank, Auckland.

Coutts said last week Wallbank had been close to many team members.
