Last week, the Herald on Sunday ran a story about the protocols set by Oracle and the Challenger of Record for the next America's Cup ('Oracle protocol raises red flags').
The story neglected, however, to note that, after considerable scrutiny, Oracle clarified the rules around teams being able to use two boats, points accrued by Oracle in the challenger series and the election of the arbitration panel. Oracle director Sir Russell Coutts wrote to say the story was an "inaccurate interpretation of how the next America's Cup will be organised".
