Yachting: Billionaire confirms cup challenge

Telecommunications billionaire Craig McCaw has confirmed his OneWorld Challenge syndicate will have a tilt at the America's Cup.

McCaw has attracted sailors from a number of past America's Cup winners, including six members of Team New Zealand.

Australian Peter Gilmour, who skippered the Japanese challenge in this year's Cup, has been named sailing director.
