Seattle's OneWorld reversed a rare loss this morning in the Louis Vuitton Cup challenger series to beat Sweden's Victory Challenge by 21sec this afternoon.
OneWorld led at every mark but Victory Challenge kept the pressure on and at one point on the third upwind leg appeared to catch the Americans, although the two boats were well apart at the time.
In the middle of the course, OneWorld caught a favourable wind shift which pulled them out to a lead of about 85m at the third mark.
On the final run downwind, the gap closed to under 70m as OneWorld came down to the right before moving left closer to the Victory Challenge course.
OneWorld managed to pull away to win by 115m.
