Italian America's Cup skipper Francesco de Angelis and the crew of Luna Rossa have received Tuscany's Pegaso d'Oro award.
The Pegaso d'Oro recognised "the extraordinary success achieved as a result of their technical and athletic skills and team spirit".
It is awarded to athletes whose efforts "increase the prestige" of Tuscany.
Luna Rossa won the Louis Vuitton Cup before being beaten 5-0 by Team New Zealand.
