KEY POINTS:
Gee, the America's Cup Port in Valencia just gets quieter and quieter.
Sure today is a weekday but it is dead as a door nail. Hardly a person in sight.
The only two bases that had signs of life were Luna Rossa and Alinghi. Team New Zealand were taking a well deserved couple of days off. Luna Rossa went out sailing in the early afternoon and didn't return until nearly 8pm!
The big news here today was that Chris Dickson has resigned from Oracle. No surprises there. One would assume he is heading back to the land of the long white cloud via Disneyland where he said he was going to take his family.
When Team New Zealand were out bashing their way around the course against the Spanish in their final semifinal race it is believed Alinghi broke something and were spotted quietly towing back in.
The Swiss have been talking themselves up a bit lately so if they did break something, no matter how little, then it is comforting to know that Team New Zealand raced out there and didn't break a thing.
