Team New Zealand have moved up to third on the leaderboard on day two of the Extreme Sailing Series Muscat regatta in Oman.
It was case of drama in slow motion for the second day of the regatta, with the breeze sitting at between four and seven knots making for some challenging conditions.
But Dean Barker and his Emirates Team New Zealand crew fared reasonably well in the unforgiving breeze, winning two of the six races sailed to claim third place on the leaderboard.
Barker said consistency remains the key challenge for his team.
"Overall we're pretty pleased with how we've been doing 90% of the time. Today we started well before having a couple of average results. It's just a matter of being a little bit more consistent," he said.
