Team USA skipper Jimmy Spithill will miss the next America's Cup World Series regatta due to injury.
Spithill is struggling with an elbow setback and has passed his duties over to Australian Tom Slingsby for the event in Toulon this weekend.
Great Britain have the overall lead, with USA second and Team New Zealand third.
