Kiwi Laser sailor Sam Meech remains in sight of a medal but gold is beyond him heading into the final day of the World Cup regatta in Miami.
Olympic bronze medallist Meech continued solid regatta form placing fifth, 10th and 10th in the three races on Sunday (NZT) to remain entrenched in fourth place overall.
His 66 net points leaves him just four behind second-placed Briton Nick Thompson and three behind German Philipp Buhl.
However, their will be no catching leader Tom Burton in the double-points race on Monday (NZT) as the Australian revelled in the healthy breeze.
Burton was first, sixth and first to clinch gold with a race to spare, nearly 30 points clear of the fleet.
