Finn sailor Andrew Murdoch is having to bite the bullet and face the reality he won't be making the trip to Rio.
Murdoch's been overlooked for the Olympics, with Josh Junior New Zealand's representative in the class.
With two Olympics under his belt, there had been talk that Murdoch may contest the decision, however he says it just wouldn't be beneficial for anyone.
He says he doesn't think he'd get a positive result out of it, and with it being less than 90 days until the Olympics, it would also hinder Junior's preparation.
Murdoch will take some time to rest and reflect before deciding on his future.
