London gold medal winner Jo Aleh and world champion Peter Burling are expected to be named for their third Olympics this morning.
Yachting New Zealand will announce its first contingent for the Rio games at an event in the Auckland suburb of Devonport.
Aleh and Burling made their debuts at the Beijing games eight years ago, with the former to be named alongside Polly Powrie in the women's 470's.
Burling will predictably be selected alongside Blair Tuke, continuing their unbeaten partnership since winning silver in London.
The men's 470 and women's 49erFX are also likely to be named this morning.
