The military sports event gathers 33 countries invited by organisers Russia. This year NATO member Greece has joined the festivities taking place in no fewer than six countries including Azerbaidjan, Armenia, Iran, Kazakhstan, China and Russia.

The Chinese army took first place in the Suvorov Attack relay race on Saturday in Korla City of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as part of the ongoing International Army Games 2018 after winning the Suvorov Attack individual race earlier in the competition.
The International Army Games 2018, initiated by the Russian Defense Ministry, have been underway in seven countries, including China, Russia, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Azerbaijan since July 28. The games will end on Aug. 11.

According to the competition's rules, the equipment is provided by the host country, for... "fairness".
Russia blew its opponents out of water in this event part of a strategic and diplomatic plan. However, China and Iran reportedly won some of the 28 events in land, in the air and sea.
