Auckland long-distance runner Carolynne Tassie covered 212.348km to finish seventh in the 24-hour world challenge in Taiwan.
The 47-year-old administration clerk has a best distance of 222.220km for 24 hours of running, achieved in 2004.
The women's title was won by Sumie Inagaki of Japan, who covered 237.144km.
Japanese athlete Ryoichi Sekiya won the men's title with a distance of 272.936km.
