Woodcock back for North Harbour

All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock will make his first NPC appearance this season for North Harbour in Saturday's rugby match against Taranaki.

North Harbour coach Allan Pollock confirmed today the loose-head prop would front in Saturday's first division match at North Harbour stadium after being rested following the All Blacks Tri-Nations series.

"Tony is always a welcome addition to the team," Pollock said.

"Our scrums have been an important part of our game this season and will only take on more importance this week against Taranaki."

Pollock will name his team tomorrow.

North Harbour are currently fourth on the NPC table on 22 points.
