South African rugby coach Jake White has answered the inevitable question of what the future holds for him.
A few weeks ago the answer would have been the coaching scrap heap, but he now appears safe in his job right through the World Cup.
White confirms he will be coaching the Springboks next year and will probably make a decision in December next year.
Jake White's team backed up their shock win over the All Blacks with a 24-16 upset win over the Wallabies in Johannesburg yesterday morning.
The two wins at the tail end of the Tri-Nations should secure White's short term future, along with several senior players.
