Springboks rugby coach Jake White is fully aware he might be sacked at the end of the current Tri-Nations campaign.
White's future appears to be hanging on the next month or so, as South African officials baulk at extending his contract and rumours intensify over his possible future with England.
Speaking from Brisbane, Jake White says he is also fully aware he needs results.
White says they have high expectations.
He said he does not have to be paranoid about losing his job. He just has to best prepare his team and try to win.
John Smit will lead the South African side for the 29th time in Brisbane on Sataurday, becoming the second most capped Springbok captain after Gary Teichmann.
