Wales coach Warren Gatland is said to be interested in the England head coaching job vacated by Stuart Lancaster.
Despite telling Radio Sport last week that the England job didn't interest him, the Daily Mail has reported that the New Zealander would be receptive to a lucrative offer to take charge of England.
Gatland is under contract with Wales until the end of the 2019 World Cup and the Welsh Rugby Union have indicated that they would demand a compensation payment of £1.2million to free Gatland to chase the England gig.
The opportunity to select his own coaching staff is also said to be an important factor into the former Waikato coach's interest in the England role.
Jake White and Eddie Jones are the other big-name coaches said to be interested in the job, while New Zealand Rugby World Cup winners Graham Henry and Wayne Smith have ruled themselves out of contention.
