Wallabies flanker David Pocock has posted a graphic image of his hand being worked on mid-surgery after undergoing minor surgery in Perth.
Pocock will miss the remainder of the Rugby Championship after suffering a broken hand during the September 17 test against Argentina in Perth.
The 28-year-old Pocock only recently returned to the Australia team after suffering a broken eye socket during the June test series against England. His international career has twice been interupted by knee reconstructions.
"Gutted to miss the rest of the #RugbyChampionship," Pocock posted on his Facebook page.
"Back in Canberra to work hard and hopefully be available for spring tour."
