Michael Cheika has another reason to be annoyed about last night's Bledisloe Cup defeat with the news Wallaby Dean Mumm has been cited for alleged foul play.
Mumm is alleged to have contravened Law 10.4 (a) - that a player must not strike an opponent with the fit or arm, including the elbow, shoulder, head or knee - after 12 minutes of the second half.
According to a release from New Zealand Rugby, referee Nigel Owens did not see the incident. After reviewing the match footage, the Citing Commissioner deemed the incident had met the red card threshold for foul play.
The citing will be considered by Duty Judifical Officer Robert Stelzner.
