New Zealand scored 16 tries to run away with yet another easy win in the world under-21 rugby championships in Argentina today.
They beat Canada 92-7, after their 60-15 victory over Wales in the opening round, and face Australia next.
Canterbury's Steven Brett led the scoring with 32 points from four tries and six conversions.
Wellington's Serge Lilo and Auckland's James Somerset scored three tries each and Waikato's Dwayne Sweeney got two.
``We led only 27-0 at halftime but in the second half our system fell into place. But at the end of the day we had the size on them and the technique,'' coach Bryce Woodward told NZPA today.
However, he said despite the big wins New Zealand were still not guaranteed a playoff spot.
They'll be looking for a bonus point victory against Australia next to assure them a semifinal place.
The Australians had a more meaningful workout today, beating hosts Argentina 25-20.
South Africa beat England 34-16 to also maintain their unbeaten record in the tournament, Wales bounced back to beat Scotland 24-8 and Samoa went down to Ireland 21-29.
