TAB: Punter's Guide to the weekend's international rugby

Here's where the TAB think the money is in a stacked weekend of international footy.

England v New Zealand
It's hard to see England being good enough to knock over the All Blacks given their underwhelming 2018 but history suggests this won't be a complete blowout.

The ABs' last three victories at Twickenham have all come by 10 points or less and England showed last week that they can keep things type against stronger opposition.

Recommended Bet: New Zealand 12 & Under

Wales v Australia
It's quite surprising that Wales are favourites for this game given their record against Australia over the past decade.

The Wallabies have won 13 straight against Wales dating back to 2009 and have shown some fight in their recent games against the All Blacks and Argentina.

Recommended Bet: Australia

Ireland v Argentina
Ireland are being given a bit too much credit by the bookies here. The points start is set at 16.5 but Ireland haven't beaten the Pumas by more than 12 since 2012.

There were only nine points separating the sides in last year's meeting in Dublin and Argentina have undoubtedly improved under Mario Ledesma since then. It's fair to expect Argentina to keep this competitive.

Recommended Bet: Argentina +16.5

France v South Africa

France haven't beaten the Springboks for almost nine years and it's hard to see that streak ending this weekend based on what we've seen from Les Bleus in 2018.

France were outclassed on their tour to New Zealand in June, much like they were 12 months previously in South Africa, and managed just two wins in the Six Nations. South Africa should be too good here.

Recommended Bet: South Africa -2.5

Brazil v Māori All Blacks

It's hard to really gauge the respective qualities of these two sides but Brazil went down to the USA by 29 earlier this year whom the Māori All Blacks just cruised past despite some discipline issues.

With mismatches like this a lot depends on a side's mindset towards the end of the match but with quality players such as Jackson Hemopo & Matt Proctor coming off the Māori bench the tries should keep coming for the for the full 80.
