When it comes to goal-kicking options, the Hurricanes look to be covered.
With All Blacks goal-kicker Beauden Barrett waiting in the wings, first choice kicker Jordie Barrett has been on form off the tee in the last two weeks, scoring 16 points against the Crusaders and following it up with 15 points against the Brumbies.
He also showcased his versaility with a stunning left-footed conversion from the sideline in training, something that halfback TJ Perenara tried to top before their clash against the Lions.
In what looks to be a team training tradition, Perenara lined up a kick from what he claims to be a nice 69 metres out, and slotted it powerfuly through the uprights.
While the altitude in Johannesburg makes long distance kicking an easier feat, the penalty is no less impressive from the All Blacks halfback, who will surely now be pushing his case to kick any long-range penalties against the Lions on Sunday morning.
