Waratahs winger Cameron Shepherd was suspended for one game and fined A$5000 ($5400) by the NSW Rugby Union after damaging a car in an alcohol-related incident on Monday morning.
Shepherd and a fellow 21-year-old were subsequently charged for malicious damage by police after they damaged the panels and roof of a car in the Sydney suburb of Pyrmont.
The Australia A representative pleaded guilty to a breach of the Australian Rugby Union code of conduct. He will miss Saturday's game against the Bulls.
Shepherd's actions came the morning after fellow Waratah Justin Harrison received a three-match suspension for racially abusing Cats winger winger Chumani Booi.
His fine will be paid to the spinal injuries unit at Royal North Shore Hospital.
