Tana Umaga will play his 100th Super 12 game on Friday night at Eden Park.
Hurricanes coach Colin Cooper said the team is determined to perform well against the Blues to show respect for their skipper.
He said they are using Umaga's milestone as major motivation, as well as trying to make the semifinals.
