The Blues have made three changes to their starting fifteen for the Super 14 match against the Highlanders in Dunedin on Friday.
In the backs, North Harbour centre Anthony Tuitavake replaces Ben Atiga, who was injured in training this week, and Steve Devine will start at halfback ahead of John Senio, who is relegated to the reserves bench.
The only change in the forwards will see Nick Williams move from blindside flanker to No 8 to replace the injured Angus Macdonald, with Justin Collins taking Williams' spot at No 6.
There are two other changes to the reserves bench apart from the swap at halfback.
North Harbour loose forward Anthony Boric takes the spot vacated by Collins, and North Harbour winger Vili Waqaseduadua replaces Auckland utility back Brent Ward.
The Blues opened their campaign with a 19-37 loss the the Hurricanes last Friday.
