Thousands of tickets remain for semi

Almost 10,000 tickets remain unsold for Friday night's Super 12 semifinal between the Crusaders and Hurricanes in Christchurch.

26 thousand tickets have been sold.

24 thousand of those were snapped up in the opening day, with sales slowing dramatically on Wednesday. Last week's match sold out despite under-strength teams taking the field, but nevertheless the Crusaders have struggled to fill Jade Stadium for semifinals in recent years.
