The Highlanders have become the fourth New Zealand franchise to secure a place in the Super Rugby playoffs.
The defending champions have thumped the Jaguares 34-8 in Buenos Aires to guarantee themselves at least a wildcard berth.
Highlanders captain Ben Smith has told Sky Sport it was a solid all-round performance.
Smith says the forwards gave them so good ball and the were able to eliminate the Jaguares' off-loading ability.
The top four New Zealand sides are separated by just three points and they play each other in the final round next Saturday.
