It's set to snow in Christchurch on the eve of Saturday's Super Rugby semifinal between the Crusaders and the Chiefs.
According to Weatherwatch.com, snow flurries are expected tomorrow and on Friday in Christchurch, possibly at as low as 100m sea level a day before the highly anticipated clash.
A sunny day is expected on gameday, however it's set to be just 3c at kickoff. it will be stark contrast from the last clash between the two sides which took place in Suva, Fiji.
Last week the Highlanders arrived in Christchurch just seven hours before the start of their quarter-final defeat to the Crusaders due to heavy rain in Dunedin.
On eventual arrival in Christchurch they were greeted by torrential rain which continued throughout the match.
