The Hurricanes are hoping to help out their local fans when a further release of tickets for Saturday's Super Rugby final against the Highlanders go on sale tomorrow.
Close to 5000 tickets will be up for grabs tomorrow morning, which includes 1700 that will make up temporary seating sections on the eastern and southern sides of Westpac Stadium.
Hurricanes chief executive James Te Puni said a good chunk of those tickets would be taken offline and sold physically at Te Papa in Wellington.
"We understand a number of people who queued up locally on Monday missed out on tickets due to the huge interest generated online," Te Puni said.
"Because of that, we plan to join with Ticketek and create a pop-up site at Te Papa, where about 2000 tickets will be available from 8am tomorrow."
