A week after conceding an embarrassing 92 points to the Cheetahs, the Sunwolves have pulled off their first Super Rugby victory.
The Japanese side have defeated the Argentinian-based Jaguares 36-28 in Tokyo this afternoon.
Both sides held the lead a number of times throughout the enthralling match, before the Sunwolves scored a try right on fulltime to ensure a victory.
The win temporarily lifts the Sunwolves ahead of the Force and Kings on the Super Rugby ladder.
It was an impressive bounce back from Mark Hammett's men, just a week after the Sunwolves suffered one of the worst defeats in the competition's history, 92-17 to the Cheetahs.
