Embarrassment for SANZAR. Super Rugby's governing body has appealed the outcome of their own judicial hearing involving Sharks second five Francois Steyn.
Steyn was sent off for a lifting tackle on Chiefs first five Aaron Cruden in Durban last weekend.
However the Springbok centre was found not guilty of dangerous play by SANZAR judicial officer Jannie Lubbe, who rescinded the red card from Steyn's record.
The SANZAR appeals committee will hear the appeal via a video conference at 7pm tomorrow.
