Lock Sam Whitelock is the worst of the Crusaders injury concerns as they head home from their Super Rugby win over the Sharks in London.
Whitelock could be out for two to three weeks with a sprained ankle.
With the Crusaders having the bye this weekend it's hoped first-five Dan Carter's strained hamstring and captain Kieran Read's neck injury will recover in time to face the Bulls on April 9 in Timaru.
