Fairfax Media reports lock Sam Whitelock will be out of Friday night's Super Rugby match with the Hurricanes in Nelson due to concussion.
Captain Kieran Read has already been ruled out of the match with the same affliction.
A quad injury to Colin Slade means he is also not available, while Israel Dagg and prop Joe Moody are both considered unlikely.
