Hurricanes and Wellington halfback Piri Weepu is considering his rugby playing future.
The All Blacks halfback, off contract at the end of the year, indicated in a Radio Sport interview today he has an offer from a French club on the table.
Weepu, 26, played the last of his 35 tests against South Africa in August 2009.
A decision whether to stay or go would depend whether or not he was in the frame for international selection.
He will talk it over with the All Blacks coaches to see where he stands.
Weepu, who made his All Blacks debut against Wales at Cardiff in 2004, said family interests were another important factor in any decision he made.
