Waratahs skipper Phil Waugh appears likely to make a shock appearance in Super Rugby this weekend.
Waugh was looking at three months on the sidelines after tearing his bicep muscle, but now he says he's playing their next match.
He says there's no reason why he can't play on.
Waugh says he's seen a specialist and it's been determined he can't do any more damage to the injury.
The Waratahs take on the Crusaders in Nelson on Friday night.
