Waratah's winger Lachie Turner's set to miss the entire Super Rugby season after tearing his hamstring off the bone in their pre-season game against Samoa on Friday.
Turner needs surgery to reattach the tendon and will miss at least six months of action.
He could be available to play in the finals in August if the Waratahs make it but is definitely out of the Wallabies mid-year Tests against Scotland and Wales.
