The Hurricanes are hoping new first-five Blair Stewart has got the goods to perform at the level required in the Super 14.
Stewart is set to make his first start against the Western Force in Perth early tomorrow morning, replacing regular playmaker Jimmy Gopperth.
Captain Tana Umaga says although he is unsure how Stewart will perform, he has shown at training that he is capable. He says Stewart has trained very well and he is a confident player which should help him.
Tana Umaga believes Conrad Smith's return will have a big influence on the Hurricanes.
The match kicks-off at 12.45 am tomorrow.
