KEY POINTS:
Waikato utility Dwayne Sweeney will make his Super 14 rugby debut at fullback when the Chiefs host the two-time champion Brumbies in Hamilton on Saturday night.
Sweeney, who slots in at the back for conditioning All Black Mils Muliaina, is one of two new Chiefs selected by head coach Ian Foster.
Former Hurricane Tane Tu'ipolotu, who has 25 Super rugby caps, is the other newcomer and will partner Niva Ta'auso in midfield.
First choice centre Richard Kahui was unavailable after suffering a shoulder injury against the Blues in a trial game last week while Foster also has All Blacks lock Keith Robinson and former loose forward Sione Lauaki on the casualty list.
However, Foster is still able to name a formidable pack dominated by members of the Air New Zealand Cup-winning Waikato side.
Another former Hurricane Kristian Ormsby, who plays with Counties Manukau in the national provincial competition, and Bay of PLenty prop Simms Davison are the only interlopers.
Ormsby partners captain Jono Gibbes in the second row after All Black Keith Robinson was not risked as he recovers from a calf strain.
Foster has named a predictable loose forward trio in Lauaki's absence due to a broken wrist.
Marty Holah, who plays his 70th consecutive game for the Chiefs, is supported by Steven Bates and Liam Messam.
Kick off is at 7.35pm.
