The Chiefs Super rugby franchise have appointed Chris Tindall to the position of high performance manager.
Tindall joins the Chiefs after 10 years' experience at the New Zealand Rugby Union as contracts manager, where he was primarily responsible for professional players' retention, recruitment and succession planning and similarly involved with coaches and other team management.
Chiefs chief executive Gary Dawson said: "Chris is highly regarded for his knowledge, skills and relationships across the professional rugby environment. His experience will be invaluable particularly as we move into franchises contracting players directly."
Tindall will take up his new position next month.
