KEY POINTS:
Officials of rugby's Super 14 and Tri-Nations competitions held "constructive, open and frank" discussions yesterday with representatives from the United States, Argentina and Canada who are looking to be part of expanded tournaments.
Further meetings are scheduled with Japan and with officials from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga later this month.
Information from the meetings would be discussed at the next Sanzar workshop in Perth from July 15-17.
