Rugby: Read has light work out

Crusaders and All Black number eight Kieran Read is confident he'll be fit for Sunday morning's Super rugby semifinal against the Stormers in Cape Town.

Read suffered an ankle injury in last weekend's quarterfinal win over the Sharks, but he's confident there is no ligament damage.

Read is yet to test the ankle in a team training run.

He says he's had a light work out on the ankle since arriving in the Republic.
