Waratahs No 8 Wycliff Palu has been cleared after being cited for stamping during his team's Super 14 rugby win over the Hurricanes in Wellington last night.
Palu was cited for allegedly stamping or trampling on Hurricanes player Jeremy Thrush in the 69th minute of the match at Westpac Stadium.
He faced a SANZAR judicial hearing in Wellington this morning before his return flight to Sydney but was cleared of the charge.
Hurricanes captain Rodney So'oialo was also cited for allegedly stamping or trampling on Waratahs player Phil Waugh in the 65th minute, and faces the judiciary tomorrow.
