Tomorrow night's match between Otago and Manawatu has been rescheduled for August 30 in a rare postponement in the ITM Cup.
The move has been made a result of the adverse weather conditions and airport closures around the country.
Manawatu coach Dave Rennie says there was no guarantee they were going to be able to get to Dunedin by bus.
Rennie says they wanted to play but they could have got stranded in Christchurch and not arrived on time for kick-off.
Given that both Otago and Manawatu are in the hunt for spots in the Championship final, the decider has been moved from Friday, September 2 to Sunday, September 4.
