Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham's tirade has cut no ice with officials who have appointed rising Australian referee Angus Gardner to handle one of the two Super Rugby semi-finals.
Gardner was given the tick of approval on Tuesday, assigned to the Hurricanes' clash with fellow Kiwi outfit the Chiefs in Wellington on Saturday.
South Africa's Jaco Peyper will control the other semi between the Lions and the Highlanders in Johannesburg.
An emotional Larkham slammed the officiating after the Brumbies were beaten 15-9 by the Highlanders in their quarter-final, claiming they should have won.
He felt the Brumbies should have been given a scrum penalty near the posts in the dying minutes and also should have been awarded a try when replacement winger Lausii Taliauli went over in the 75th minute, although the TMO's replays showed no sign of the ball being grounded over the line.
